Early Birthday Present Extravaganza
AJ the Great got me a new digital camera with a loading dock (Kodak) for my birthday. So.... it's the return of the long-neglected Jennifer Logan Anti-Pro blog. Now with more Street Smartz™.
Thanksgiving Day was pretty awesome. That was the day I got my new camera. AJ and I were alone that day. So, we went shopping and ate at Lone Star Steakhouse (one of only a few Tulsa restaurants open that evening). Spent the evening in Tulsa, basically.
Because there were no kiddies around, we kind of went crazy taking photos of ourselves.
When we got home that night, the kids had surprised us by coming over a night early (instead of the next morning). They were all asleep, but Sevin was, of course, the first one up the next day. He provided me with a lovely series of tongue pictures. Example:
(I like how he's so nonchalant here.)
The Day After Thanksgiving (Black Friday) was the day we were having dinner at our house with the Logan Family. Here are some pics from then:
Here's my beautiful niece Logan. No, her name's not Logan Logan. Her mom is AJ's sister. So, she has a different last name.
Logan & Heather, the proud teens of the party.
This is my father-in-law Larry being laughed at by Logan and Heather because of his insistence upon wearing socks with sandals year-round.
Johnny & Roxanne (brother-and-sister-in-law) had the best seat in the living room, backdropped by the elegant red blanket draped over the window to keep the sun's glare off the television screen.
Two cutesy girls: my niece Lanie & sweet Hannah. They played outside pretty much all afternoon.
Here's Sevin standing guard over his club house/storage building. Note: I call this kid Elvis now, and no one seems to know why.
Lanie sweeping dirt off of dirt.
Another photo op for the girls.

Logan perching on the porch railing off of which this very gymnastically-inclined girl nearly fell a few times.
Hannah peeking.
AJ seated. This man knows how to cook a mean turkey.
Retiring to the couch to watch Mean Girls.
Alright, this isn't in sequential order. But one more tongue shot for good measure.
Be sure to check back later in the week. I have some catching up to do.
